Biografía
Julio 15, 1948

Chuck was born in Rosedale, Mississippi to Charles R. McCain, Sr. and Beverly Stentz McCain. Chuck is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jill; daughters, Amy Leber, Carly Williams, Michelle (Grant) Sinclair, and son, Lucas (Regina) McCain and his beloved grandchildren, Garrett, Ashlee, Ethan, Logan and Evelyn. He is also survived by sisters, Cynthia McCain, Leslie (Francis) Farmer and Patricia McCain; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and so many friends. Chuck loved his family and in recent years, especially enjoyed the times he shared with his grandchildren. Chuck was a creative and successful business man, a race car driver, a pilot, and so many other things. His energy and talent were amazing and he will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched forever. He was dearly loved by all of us left to grieve this terrible, senseless tragedy. In honor of his love of dirt track racing, a Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, April 24, 2010 at USA Raceway on Los Reales, Tucson, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Empire High School, E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way, Vail, AZ. We thank you all for your prayers and kindness during this extremely difficult time. We are requesting in lieu of other types of remembrances, that a donation to Homicide Survivors (www.azhomicidesurvivors.org)would be most appreciated and appropriate.

Abril 2, 2010

On Good Friday, April 2, 2010, Chuck was on his way to his business when he stopped and had a quick lunch with his wife and soulmate, Jill. He made his way in to work that Good Friday with the intention of giving his employees the rest of the day off. Upon arrival at the business, Chuck was confronted by one of the many souls he had tried so hard to serve and save. After a brief argument, Chuck went into the lunch room and sat down with his employees to tell them that they had done a good job this week and deserved the second half of the day to be with their families at the beginning of this Holy weekend. Curtis Bunton, who had received countless meals, lodging, support, and love from Chuck, returned to the lunchroom armed and struck down the man who had picked him up off the street and gave him a fresh start in life. Chuck was transported to the hospital but passed away before he arrived. And so ended that beautiful poem of passion and dedication that was the life of Charles R. McCain, Jr.
