Charles R. "Chuck" Randolph McCain

I am a friend of the maker of kettwiesel bikes which he took as a base for his streamine mold. Although I never met him in person, I am deeply struck by his sudden death which I just became aware of. There´s a saying in germany: "die Guten sterben früh" (good guys die early). It´s definately only a cold comfort for his relatives, but his ideas and developments will survive in our recumbent bike community.

 God never promised us how we would go, just where we would go if we chose His Son as our Lord. Chuck did. 

 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Chuck's there!

 Like a song says Chuck might say: I'm happy, happy in this place. So smile, my family and my friends, cause I'm happy happy in this place.

 Let's Make sure we meet him there. I know I will. My prayers are with all family and friends.

I have known Chuck and his family for many years. My son JC spent many fun, memorable times as friends with Lucas out on the mountain. The kid in Chuck always made for great fun! JC has spoken highly and with great memory of his adventures out on the McCain Homestead.Chuck intorduced my son JC to bulldozers, quads, adventures outdoors on countless weekends away from home hanging out with his buddy Lucas. I spent many hours with Chuck drilling water wells all over Tucson. One of my crowning achievemnets was to drill a well 55 feet from a Koaklies Well  ( AZ's most noted well driller) which produced a hallf gallon a minute, while mine and Chucks well produced 28 gallons a minute and the water came within 28 feet of the service, I can see Chuck still grinning now!!

 My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Chuck will be greatly missed and will leave a large hole in many hearts and lives.

We are praying for your family. Lucas I know how much you looked up to your dad and I'm so sorry that he is gone, but I know he is in a better place. May God bring you peace.

We were so terribly sorry to hear of the tragic loss your family has suffered. We knew Chuck to be an honest, generous, compassionate, faithful man who brought kindness and integrity to all his endeavors. Almost every conversation reflected his great dedication and love for his wonderful family. God bless you all. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers at this awful time and into the future. My heart is just breaking for your family.  I am so sorry that this has happened, and I so wish there were something tangible I could do for you.  Until I think of that thing, I am praying daily for Michelle, Grant, Evelyn, Jill and the rest of the family, and I suppose that really is the best thing I could be doing. Grant and Michelle, I love you guys, and am sending long distant hugs all around.
